Welcome! I'm Vickie Thomas and I am passionate about art, bead embroidery and jewellery making. My bead embroidered jewellery  allows me to explore colour, texture and shape and I love to play with the way that they mix with the form of the body. I see my pieces as more than jewellery - they have substance and character. I am inspired by music, language and colour. I love a play on words or an influential quotation and try to reflect the power of these words in my pieces. 

Where possible I try to use fairtrade beads and buy focal beads from local artists. I also like to use found items and recycled items and make my own beads from plastic, clay and paper.

My jewellery and projects have been featured in Making Jewellery magazine.

I am a member of the Beadworkers Guild.
